Its so important to know that being kind has long term benefits and even at the short term you are giving away, you will benefit a lot in the long term.

Kindness scales up more that competitiveness and is a better cement to built your team/company on. It creates an open trustworthy culture for everyone.

Lessons from scott adams book

Felt it was some really useful tips and guidance:

  1. Have a system not goal (e.g eating right versus i will lose 10 kilos)
  2. Optimize for energy  (any person, thing, job makes u less enthusiastic in your day to day should be avoided)
  3. Every skill acquired doubles your chance of success 
  4. Pick the delusion that works (believe u will win oscar - it motivates in right direction and manages- manage attitude humour and smile (e.g I arati kadav will be oscar worthy director) 
  5. Skills you must acquire in life - public speaking, psychology, business writing, accounting, design, conversation, overcoming shyness, second language, proper grammar, persuasion, tech, proper voice technique 
  6. 3 habits of successful people - no fear of embarrassment, education of field, exercise 
  7. Use affirmations - e.g say "i yuvishka srivastava will be the richest woman in the world" to yourself 3/4 times to hack your mind
  8. Happiness - flexible schedule, directional nature of happiness (so try taking things where ur skill improve with time), imagination (pessimism is poor imagination) , sleep, diet, exercise—— eat right, exercise, get enough sleep, imagine an incredible future, work towards a flexible schedule, do things you can steadily improve, help others, reduce daily decisions to routine.
  9. Fitness and diet most important to become successful over time
  10. 3 kinds of people- selfish, stupid, burden on soceity so be selfish. Overtime you will make sweeping contribution to the society if u become self reliant. 
  11. Dont make exercise and food will power dependent- infact make it easier to exercise by eg decoupling wearing outfit and exercising, fill your house with healthy food, eat satiating food if you are sleep deprived etc
