What works for Indian audience

Punha is about muhallas, about drawing rooms and chutney sandwiches in parties. Extra characters like alka and anuj give that sense of overflowing life. This is like a nukkad or raju ban gaya gentleman or jo jeeta where side characters build the world. Especially for the milleu these characters grow up in.
Sometimes I feel that difference between an indie film and a film film (Bollywood) is how empty the former feels. I feel Indian audience and even kids (animation films) goto theatre to engage with a world and its surpluses rather than just a sharp story. That's what I feel.

Some life lessons and book recos for you

Apart from that - I never listened to anyone on this but invest in your personality. Be precise, quiet, to the point. Invest in public speaking and on the feat thinking. Give time to meditation.
Have control of your emotions which are essentially biological reaction. Don't show your emotions to anyone.

Read these books. Be mature and to the point and asssertive like the author. Listen to podcasts. Choose complex jobs acquire complex skill sets.
You are average of 5 people you spend your time with. Let one of them be books and interesting podcasts that is constantly enriching you.

Crows, garlics and garden

Joy of ordinary days ...

Writing also means sometimes taking

An afternoon nap with all 3 generations

Mommy's coffee date with yooki

Since we have been asked to work on script (again), I have been blissfully working from home with my yookster. Yesterday we stepped out for a coffee break to a restaurant called "coffee break" and chilled out and had some lovely time. Pic courtesy zain uncle who keeps worrying that you will forget us !

When u feel cornered - mantra to deal with politics of people

And when u feel stuck with politics of people remember this mantra :

Each day brings new situations . The way we respond to those situations creates our attitudes , habits and our personality .
Rather than react, give yourself a moment to understand the situation and develop a considered response. Trust in others wins co-operation from them. To have faith in others also means reinforcing other people's faith in themselves . This naturally increases their self-confidence and creates enthusiasm.

Nothing beats

Nothing beats your husband making breakfast for you. And it's ok to put haldi mirchi dhaniya powder in English omelette ❤️️

Took you to office today. It was chaotic to say the least but well we tried our best.

Challenging familiarity

For Proust, the great artists deserve acclaim because they show us the world in a way that is fresh, appreciative, and alive… The opposite of art, for Proust, is something he calls habit. For Proust, much of life is ruined for us by a blanket or shroud of familiarity that descends between us and everything that matters. It dulls our senses and stops us appreciating everything, from the beauty of a sunset to our work and our friends.
