Yookis first Pooja, the walk and the morning after - Nasik day 2

Keep the beauty for only one second, then pass it on. Die with your heart full and your hands empty. - T. Williams

Your papa read your blog and said it looks like an attic filled with photos. Maybe I should consolidate posts and not make it everyday affair - when u grow up u will have trouble sifting through them. Also since I send using emails, I don't get the benefit of reading and correcting (re-writing btw is the most important part of writing well)

But yes you had your first Satyanarayan katha... Now religion is a very dicey thing and though you are born Hindu (actually genuinely the most flexible religion of all - that believes in plurality of thoughts ideas and practices but recently some people are making it rigid), you can figure out your own philosphy and discovering meaning of life, and the way of living it.
I feel in these matters it's best to keep asking questions instead of arriving at an answer and not have a rigid way of doing things. And also these are private things so not to be imposed on others. I hope you enjoy your work, do it very deligently and you will not require any religion to make you feel more settled in life. However we do Pooja coz we respect your elders beliefs. Also do not discard everything saying new way as the right way. Sometimes things that are practiced for centuries amass some collective wisdom and your work and your mind can benefit greatly from them. Love to yoo. I love the last pic of you and papa I took. Kiss.

P.S: Here is some art around hinduism
