We came to Nachik to have some fun and chill !
It is feeling like a great break from maddening Mumbai. Juno even drank some water from the swimming pool and then the guys there protested that pets are not allowed. I wish animals and humans lived more together and people were more open to them - it would give humans some perspective. Do you know of specism - where animals are discriminated against - primarily assumed to feel less pain or emotional attachment to their loved ones by humans so they are tortured - it is basically mental programming of people to believe on certain things so that one can continue to exploit animals and not carry any moral baggage.

"Eating meat is probably not ethical, especially given the barbaric norms in the livestock industry—but meat is delicious, and my current move in life is to kind of just selfishly detach from the whole thing and hope it goes in a better direction in the future while making no personal sacrifice in the present to do anything about it, because it just feels symbolic more than practical to stop eating meat—even though I know if everyone thought that way nothing would ever change—and in that moment when my eyes scan across Double Smoked Country Bacon JalapeƱo Cheddar Burger on the menu, I end up choosing to not think about either the incredible suffering of cows and pigs or the gross and probably-super-unhealthy antibiotics that went into the creation of that burger and just order it. With Tabasco. "
My fundamental issue with this is that "animals meant to die are sometime treated like dead". It's a tough topic - once you research more you will know that even massive deforestation for farming (essentially vegetarian food) is also wrong as that completely destroys habitat. Some people talk about nervous system bias that we care more about animals who have nervous system because we understand them better. But currently it is boolean - you can kill 100 animals and get away with 50 rupees fine but one human murder gets you in jail. It should not be that boolean I feel.
Anyways today we went out in stroller. Papa practiced reversing in stroller too. It was lots of fun. Today morning you cried so he carried you on his shoulders. Yooki is having a thug life :).
Life is beautiful just like yoo !
