To Yoo Or Not To Yoo / what should be Yooki's name

As Nani made these pumpkin jaggery doughnuts (boil pumpkin pieces in cooker, to it add whole wheat, chunks of fresh coconut, poppy Seeds and jaggery- then make balls and fry) , we settled for a bigger task at hand. What should be Yooki's school name.

Though lots of folks likes Yooki for school too, I want to give a more formal name. We thought of lots of name like Jyotsna, Vasundhara but finally liked the ones in the chits in this order:

Yooki Srivastava
Swarna Srivastava

How can someone be so amazing !!

I kept wondering today as you played with Zain and gazed in Zain uncle's eyes.

It was not "every baby is amazing and so are you" kinda wonder. It was more. It was you specifically- your playfulness, or making that "guys I am about to cry" face, or that glint in your eye and that million dollar extreme joy plus shy smile.

You were born with a complete disregard to normal beauty conventions. Binocular nose, deep brown (admittedly the most beautiful deep brown color I have ever seen but maids would say she is not fair (we have this fairness obsessed culture so can't help)) and you were so limited in your faculties (obviously coz you were a baby) but in that tiny frame of yours there was this infinite joy, energy, love, innocence and boundless beauty.

Your dad says he can't wait for you to start talking, interacting more. I, on the other hand, can't have enough of my little, hyperactive bundle of joy.

You are my one true love. And I am so happy it's yoo.

3 months of yoo

Papa came back

From New York and london and got lots of stuff !! Dresses and shoes.

We then went for walk and had aloo pArathas

We thought we were doing really well

But yesterday night you cried from 6-10 pm. No idea, maybe sleepy or need to play simultaneously. I and nani had a tough time managing you but thankfully you slept by 10 and then till 5. Wish we could read your mind. Very soon though once you start talking the problem will auto-solve itself.

I and papa had binge-watched Sherlock the first month you were born. Seems like you had binge-watched by default. So anyways since papa was in london, he sent pics of sherlocks house

When Juno won't go for walk without Yooki

Nanaji left for Nasik today. It was boring without him though all he was doing last 2 days was changing all the lights in the house to LED lights so we could save on electricity bill. He even put batteries in your crab that throws light and plays music .. You can see him holding screwdriver.

Other story is happening at junos end where she has plainly refused going for walks without you. She need more incentive than just mommy. Ofcourse I can take yoo for walk but coz of rains it's not advisable.

Friday night

It was rainy so we stayed put and slept most of the day. However in the eve we did get out for a small get together !

Today

We went to whistling woods where mommy studied film direction. It was so much fun. Mummy got emotional and cried.

Books and dresses

The book book of sci fi came for Yooki ! And nana and nani gots lots of small small dresses !!

It's raining so much and we want to venture out but it feels unsafe. Also Mumma has sprained the ankle.
Anyways we did go out with Juno Didi for walk. And Zenish uncle has captured it beautifully.

Meanwhile papa is having fun in Nyk and hope we can join him next time. He met mama-Mami also. Papa getting lots of dresses and shoes and mama-Mami also sending some.
