In that order.
Point 1 will help you have more human resources working for you and will help create a better life. Point 2 helps as it helps in point 1 too. Evolution wise too, the species who could co-operate were the species who survived.
Other thing to learn is that humans work more for future prospects than past biases. You can overcome past biases by showing them a promising future.
Hope you make use of these pieces of wisdom earlier. It took me half of my life to arrive at them :).
