As you know I was sad that punha isnt happening and it broke my heart. I was working on so many ideas and finally I hope to make this.

Logline:
Around the atmosphere that the world is ending, 10 aliens win a ticket to a dating and networking event only to realize that there is a larger mystery around why they have been chosen that night and maybe they have a role to play in saving the world.
Treatment:
Indie superhero genesis film (based on old buddhist secret society 9 unknowns) with strong peculiar characters, filled with humor and interesting anecdotes about life.
Brief Synopsis:
It's 10th August 2677 and there is a doomsday prediction that today is the last day and the universe will be destroyed at 8:42 pm. There are jokes about it in the TV channel and end of world parties are being hosted around.
10 aliens win a rare lottery ticket to a rare a networking and dating event. It turns out to be speed-dating event and they find the organizer unusually curious to make them find their match.
However some of them know each other or have disagreeable povs and they end up having a fight almost reaching to a point of bloody shoot out.
At that point they are informed by the organizer that it's the end of the world as rightly predicted by the cult; and these guys are the (distant- chosen) descendants of Buddha's 9 wise men who have to go to 5 corners of the world and restart the civilization.
Seeing the situation truce prevails, only for the organizer to say that Buddha has given them a chance to save the situation. The challenge is for all of them to together agree that the world has to be saved but the catch is they will be back to being the 9 ordinary people as their 9 predecessors will not die.
However, though it seems like a obvious solution, some of them do not agree and want a restart on their lives and forget their current wretched reality. And it seems like almost all of them sort of want a restart. However, one of them is a mother of a daughter who was born out of lots of efforts (she was doomed to die) and she wants to save her and gradually balance starts shifting in her favor. And eventually they all agree to save the world in the nick of time.
After that they are all asked to go back to their respective lives, living undercover – waiting for the next calling from Buddha. We do show that there are sparks of friendship and romance in some of them though as they leave there is a certain hint that the organizer is delusional (but not sure).

1. Joy Mukerjee: Young 25 year old boy. Recently got placed in the call center who helps new residents of a colony settle in their smart homes, make various house parts talk to eachother. Earnest, keen. (Communication)
Alberts:
2. Albert VII : A builder, a divorcee and currently looking for a new terrain for his new township. He is famous for creating building that matches the terrain and atmosphere. He is known to be rich, influential, arrogant and moody. (Alchemy)
3. Sophia: ex-Wife of Albert VII (unaware of the presence of her ex-husband) - is a school teacher and makes bonsai planets on the side. She worked for rehabilitation of people i new planets (Sociology)
4. Angela: Less of an Albert and more of a human (offspring of mixed parent) - Is a trekker and guides teams of tourists to summit of Himalayas. Loves nature and simple things. (Light & Speed)
Mimics:
5. Natasha: As a child was part of a cult (got in through her mother) but later rejected it and is confused between being an actress or a astrologist. Is drop dead beautiful. (Cosmology)
6. Manu: Aspiring sous-chef - believes that flora and fauna have souls and the souls become one with you when you consume them. His parents thinks his aspirations are just a phase. Is a master of fermentation. (Microbiology)
Mechas:
7. Albert: One of the powerful builders and commands respect of his sub-ordinate. Lately aspires to own certain construction areas himself. Has made interesting hovercrafts for transportation of machines and people (Gravity)
8. Anushka: Porn actress with a mechanical foot and arm – does martial artist – Jackie chan of her generation. (Physiology)
9. Saiba: Writer of stories and has an extra brain that she carries along. Understands people's mind.(Psychology)
10. Rahul: Young worker who worked for Albert and Albert VII and is a reader of books and is looking for a like-minded girl. Has external mechanica gills. (Book Reader)
Also here are the 4 species -
1. Sapiens (homo sapiens):
in the year 2500 humans, with no outer dermal matter to protect them from the hardships of space, are the softest organic matter in the universe, and like corals, proliferate all over. They weapons are useless against the more sophisticated species they encountered after they perfected hyperbolic space travel, and their extinction was all but certain. But they had one weapon: ability to negotiate endlessly with other species and they made their human minds ready to serve and help other species in negotiations and trade faring. Now humans are the traders and middle-men of the space age. Everywhere, they ensure peace and trade, most of them employed in call centers and are busy calming nervous customers from all around the universe. However inspite of finding their footing they are famous for being existentially confused as ever.
2. Alberts (homo alberts):
The first monkey to be sent by humans to space in 1961 was called Albert who died in orbit. But, unknown to humans, the monkey's body survived, beamed up by sophisticated Mecca species, and then when they realized how unusual the creature was, they cloned him and allowed to procreate. They were called Alberts after the name on their fathers name tag.
The Alberts over a period of time evolved, developed sophitcated (human-like) language skills and inherited the angst of the original Albert and became one of the most fierce and ambitious species there was. Currently, they are primarily focused on mating and expansion, they are incredibly libidinous, exhibit heightened sense of adventure, exploration and are overtly sensitive of the universal speciel bias against them. Oflate Alberts have mated with humans and experimented in cognitive capabilities of other animals and have created many biological sub-species each with different degrees of biological sophistication. As can be seen, they are the species making the most progress in the recent times because of their sheer ambition.
3. Mimics (homo celests):
Not much is know about them because they are a species that, although it is impossible, reside in black holes, or on planets that were once swallowed by black holes. They are capable of shape shifting and take the shape of other species. They became aware of human's existence on earth much before anyone else found out about them. It is a rumour that earth was an experiment and humans were created by them)
Apart from managing and creating various habitats and planets all over the universe, their biggest contribution to the universe was creation of Alberts and other biological sub-species (Mimics can arrange and rearrange DNA like lego blocks) some of them too low-level to qualify for anything other than food source for other species. Because of their shape-shifting nature and incredible good looks when they eventually do acquire a form, they are thought to be divine/celestial by various other species.
Mimics are richest of the species because of massive real estate they own, and as mentioned earlier enjoy God-like status. However, the Mimicsmillennial who grew up in extreme richness are a gullible lot and try to rebel against the specieism that Mimics are infamous for and usually try extra hard to be down to earth to mingle with other species. These millenials are known to be extra polite and extremely shy when they venture out on other planets.
4. The Mechas (homo mechas):
The Mechas were originally purely machines, created by humans who used them for space exploration and drilling and mining. They were of two kinds – pilots and labourers and capable of performing only singular tasks. However these machines met lower level species who started using parts of these machines to compensate for their physical limitations. It began with using the machine parts for appendages like the legs or hands and now sophisticated AI and cognitive capabilities are fused into offsprings of these species at the time of birth.
This is when the human kind split (The Gap Year as popularly called) – between purists (pure humans) and the mechas – the ones that allowed mechanical enhancements of body and mind. Having said that, mechas inspite of their personal enhancements have limited collective wealth and yield very little power in the universe. They are still primarily seen as workers or builders and drillers of the universe and still seen as crude and less sentient than all of the other species. Oflate this is changing and some mechas has shown aspirations to be artists and some have even written books.
