...If only things that will survive are the ones that we store are the things in digital form.
There was a nice articles that said that because of measurement and digitisation we are *not* being able to completely comprehend lots of emotions that come into play at work place - important emotions like respecting your co-workers regardless of their aptitude or skill set etc or helping people when noone noticed. Everything is in measuring performance now - work not seen is work not done it is said. But is it right or convert ourselves into automatons ?
I feel sometimes in our persuit of storing our own photos if we will ever document the pic above - of 2 boys walking that made our walk so beautiful. Will we need atms like in the news clip above that will enumerate our emotions within a list of 100 emotions that is fed into a computer - I wonder if pensive is in that list, or romanticism or feeling vulnerable in during late night walks when we are seeing the city sleep.
I used to use ink pens and then moved to ball pens for convenience. I missed on a lot of beauty in writing in the process. And now we type. Will you know my handwriting ? (Here is a small note I wrote on your behalf to Akira - maybe the original copy will be lost)..
But what is so important to remembering ...there was story about people not being able to store memories and going helter-skelter...are we our memories or are we our now or are we our future ...something I am still trying to figure out...
